Meet your Psychologist

(either in-person or online)

Your psychologist will greet you and ask how to address you. Some of them will check if this is your first time and brief about the process of therapy and how it looks like having a therapy session with your assigned psychologist. Believe in their professionalism, they will make you comfortable in the session at their best effort.

Background

& Concerns

Your assigned psychologist will inquire about your background (e.g., history of your concerns) based on your needs for the therapy. Do let your psychologist know if you are not comfortable sharing any parts of the history.

Online Therapy

We also provide online therapy for both individual and couple.

Although research shows that online therapy is as effective as in-person therapy for most people, there are few conditions we wouldn't recommend for online therapy:

  1. Hallucinations, Delusions (unless under psychiatric treatment)
  2. Dissociation (unless under medication)
  3. Children: children may have difficulty sustaining attention for online therapy method and our psychologists' approach will be play therapy with young children which require in-person mode.
